About Us · History

History

Kumar Labels was founded in 2007 by Anuj Bhargava, rooted in a family legacy that began in print and packaging in 1964. Prior to starting Kumar Labels, Anuj worked at Corning Display Technologies in Shizuoka, Japan, where he developed and deployed packaging technologies for LCD glass. He graduated with an MS in Industrial Engineering and a BE in Electronics Engineering. A true engineer at heart, Anuj and his team run Kumar Labels with an engineering mindset, applying first-principle thinking to every challenge.

What began as a humble label manufacturing operation in a 1700 sq.ft basement in Okhla, Delhi, in 2007 has grown into one of India's most awarded, vertically integrated and largest label facilities.

We serve 500+ brands across spirits, beverages, FMCG and consumer goods. And we have done so by treating every client as a partner, not a purchase order.

Quality Starts at the Raw Material.

Our in-house label stock test lab at Greater Noida provides the measurement infrastructure to validate every label stock produced internally and every incoming material from external suppliers.

Testing capabilities include:

  • Loop tack assessment
  • Label ageing trials

All label stocks are tested against specification before release to production, eliminating adhesive and substrate variability from the manufacturing process.
